We’re big fans of simple ideas that are simply brilliant. And we’re especially fans of such ideas that take zero words to explain, like the Floyd Leg which can be described in the sketch below, or even in greater detail in the animated GIF and video below that.
It’s a great way for someone who has never even thought about building a table, desk, coffee table or bench (and more), to become an instant woodworker. The Flow Leg started out as a successful Kickstarter project, but now it can be ordered and shipped from Detroit, where it is manufactured. (Okay, we’ll admit it: We’re fans of making things in the U.S. even though we’re reminded pretty often that we have readers from other countries.)
