Businesses and agencies that utilize high-end aerial imagery (from real estate developers to civil engineers) are the intended customers for Google Maps for Business Imagery, a service Google announced yesterday.
According to Vinay Goel, Google Maps for Business product director, this is Google’s first time to offer businesses the ability to purchase and use Google Earth’s high-resolution aerial imagery.
Currently, the service is limited to imagery of the continental U.S. and is available only to U.S. customers.
