Last month, we noted the small business promotional tie-ins to the Super Bowl by such advertisers as GoDaddy and Intuit. As the NCAA men’s and women’s basketball tournaments, nicknamed March Madness, tip off this week, look for more small business promotions from NCAA corporate sponsors and a wide range of national brands airing small business focused advertising during the games.

Already hitting our radar is the UPS Store‘s “Print Madness” promotion offering small businesses 500 business cards for $5.

Unlike the Super Bowl promotions that featured contests in which a few businesses received a large prize, the UPS Store promotion is a classic promotion designed to drive foot traffic into their physical locations and click traffic to their website.

As an official sponsor of the NCAA, UPS can use the logo and other references to the sports association.
