InSITE is an entrepreneurial mentorship program that brings together top students from Columbia and NYU Business and Law schools to support New York entrepreneurs in the development of their businesses and their pursuit of venture capital and angel investments.

Mission

InSITE's mission is to accelerate technology start-ups through early-stage development, transitioning them from seed stage into venture-funded companies.

Services and activities

InSITE provides early stage companies with consulting services to help them raise seed or Series A financing. Entrepreneurs benefit from five 2.5 hour sessions with a team of four to six InSITE fellows. Part way through the semester, the InSITE team meets with one of several prominent New York VC’s for one hour to discuss the project in depth and receive candid feedback. At the end of the five sessions, entrepreneurs participate in a pitch event attended by a large number of angel and venture capital investors.

All InSITE fellows are selected from the “best and brightest” at Columbia Business School, Columbia Law School, NYU Stern School of Business, and NYU Law School, and all engagement teams will have a healthy mix of backgrounds and experience.
