SmallBusiness.com: The free small business resource
MediaWiki is an open source software platform for managing and running a large-scale wiki. Originally developed for use by Wikipedia. It is now used by several other projects of the non-profit Wikimedia Foundation and by many other wikis, including SmallBusiness.com.
WikiText
Rather than HTML, MediaWiki uses a simple-to-use formatting language called WikiText. SmallBusiness.com has several ways you can learn more about using WikiText, including the Editing Tutorial.
