This weekend marks the 100th anniversary of the creation of the crossword puzzle. We thought we’d celebrate the event by creating a crossword puzzle that includes some small business words and phrases.
Print out the PDF of the puzzle, but don’t look on the second page, as that’s where you’ll find the solution. Our rules committee has met and decided that it’s okay for you to use Google for the 2-3 completely obscure words we had to dig deep into the internet to find, like: “A river in northeastern France.” Or, “a Chinook word for beaver wood.” (Who makes this stuff up?)
Have fun. We had fun making it. Well, until we got to the hard words.
