Since August, Intuit has been hosting the Small Business Big Game competition, offering one small businesses the opportunity to have a 30-second commercial spot during Super Bowl XLVIII. At its final stage, the competition has been narrowed down to four finalists eligible for the winning spot. Intuit’s advertising agency has created a commercial for each small business, however only one will be aired. According to Advertising Age, the average price of a 30 second commercial on this year’s game is $4 million.
Here are the four small business finalists, wish them luck:
1. Locally Laid Egg Company
Locally Laid is a family egg business in Wrenshall, Minnesota.
2. Poop Natural Dairy Compost
Poop is a very literal small business in Nampa, Idaho, that sells organic dairy compost for lawns, gardens, and flower beds.
3. Barley Labs
Barley Labs is a small business in Durham, North Carolina, that creates all-natural dog treats out of recycled barley from a local brewery.
4. GoldieBlox
GoldieBlox is a small toy business based in Oakland that believes construction toys shouldn’t just be a boy toy.
