(via MarketPlace) During the past two years, restaurant workers’ wages have grown about a percentage point faster than the wages in any other part of the private sector. With the unemployment rate falling, the competition for restaurant workers is growing even faster.

That’s not great news for locally owned, independent restaurants. They are now having to compete with efforts like the restaurant chain, Chipotle, that held a national jobs fair Wednesday (9/9/2015) in restaurants across the country. Their goal was to hit 4,000 workers in one day.
