As we’ve already noted, Small Business Saturday was a stellar day for media coverage related to small business.

After posting that item, a user sent us the one-week trendline graphic displayed above. It demonstrates people using Google on Saturday dramatically spiked up searches for the term “small business.”

(Note: Google Trends measures the trajectory of a specific search term. Each data point is divided by the total searches of the geography and time range it represents, to compare relative popularity.
