Rebecca Fyffe, owner and director of research of Landmark Pest Management in Schaumburg, Illinois is the U.S. Small Business Administration’s (SBA) National Small Business Person of the Year.
In 2001, the then 25-year-old Fyffe took over a struggling business, perhaps one of the youngest CEO of a pest control company in the country. Since then, her company has grown from 18 to 70 full-time employees with substantial revenue growth.
“Rebecca has built an exemplary pest control firm and is so deserving of this award,” said Linda McMahon, SBA administrator.
The award is part of the SBA’s Small Business Week festivities. Rebecca was chosen from among 50 states, Puerto Rico and Washington DC winners. In addition to the national Small Business Person of the Year, three runners-up were recognized and awarded. The following list includes the runners up and all state winners.
